Work Units
The Work Units of the Child Assessment and Education Center include diagnostic units, training units, psychological and social services, morning and evening educational programs, as well as units dedicated to research, test development, media, and public relations.
These units work together to provide integrated services that encompass diagnosis, intervention, and training to address learning difficulties and other educational challenges.
Main Work Units:
Research and Test Development Unit:
Rather than relying on assessments and therapeutic programs developed outside the Arab world, the Center recognizes the ongoing need to develop tests and intervention programs that are suited to the Arabic language and the educational and cultural environment of students in the State of Kuwait. The unit also conducts the essential foundational research required to achieve this goal.
Diagnostic Unit:
Conducts comprehensive assessments of a child’s cognitive and perceptual abilities, using a variety of tools to identify difficulties in areas such as language, comprehension, and memory.
Training Unit:
Provides training and qualification courses for specialists, parents, and others interested in learning difficulties.
Media and Public Relations Unit:
Serves as a key link between the Child Assessment and Education Center and the community. It contributes to communicating the Center’s mission of supporting and empowering individuals with Specific Learning Difficulties, while also promoting student participation and inclusion in community and educational activities.
Educational Programs (Morning and Evening):
Offer specialized educational and remedial programs for students with learning difficulties in both public and private education sectors.
