Assessment Unit
The Assessment Unit provides comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to identify learning difficulties in students. Using standardized tests, the unit assesses cognitive abilities, academic skills, and overall achievement, helping parents and teachers understand each child’s strengths and challenges.
The Assessment Unit at CCET is the sole center in the State of Kuwait offering educational diagnostic services. It is supported by a highly qualified team of specialists, enabling the unit to deliver high-quality, professional assessment services built on over thirty years of experience.
The Assessment Unit provides comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to identify learning difficulties in students. Using standardized tests, the unit assesses cognitive abilities, academic skills, and overall achievement, helping parents and teachers understand each child’s strengths and challenges..
The unit serves individuals aged 4 to 23 years, offering two main types of assessments:
Psychological Assessment:
Evaluates general intellectual ability and estimates IQ, guiding realistic expectations about the child’s abilities and developmental age.
Educational Assessment:
Measures academic skills in areas such as language (oral and written) and mathematics, in both Arabic and English, to inform targeted educational interventions.
Each assessment results in a comprehensive report summarizing medical, developmental, family, and educational history, test results, analysis, and clear recommendations for home and school.
Additional Services:
Consultation: Guidance for parents on understanding assessment results and supporting the child through individualized or group educational programs.
School Visits: Specialists visit the student’s school to explain the child’s learning difficulties and provide tailored recommendations.

To open a file and schedule an assessment, please provide:
Completed Case History Form (available to parent/legal guardian).
Recent photo of the student.
Birth certificate (copy).
Civil ID (copy).
Hearing test report.
Vision test report.
Academic records from enrollment to the current grade.
Any previous assessment or IQ reports, or school psychologist observations.
Brief teacher report on performance in core subjects (Arabic, Math, English), if available.
