Morning Educational Program

The Morning Educational Program is one of the educational intervention programs offered by the Center for Child Evaluation and Teaching in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. The program teaches the standard curriculum prescribed by public schools, using methods adapted to students’ abilities and the specific learning difficulties they face. The program began in the 1994/1995 academic year and continues to operate today.

The program provides places for Kuwaiti students or children of Kuwaiti mothers enrolled in public schools who have an accredited psycho-educational report indicating that they have learning disabilities. Students must also have a disability certificate and an educational decision issued by the Public Authority for Disabled Affairs (PADA).

The program aims to empower students to manage their learning challenges, develop strategies to cope with them, and eventually reintegrate them into their regular schools when they are equipped to keep pace with peers and become independent learners. The program emphasizes self-esteem and confidence, based on the principle that a confident and happy child is the most successful learner.
