Morning Educational Program

It is one of the therapeutic intervention programs provided by the Child Assessment and Education Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The curriculum prescribed in public schools of the Ministry of Education is taught using methods that are adapted to students’ abilities and that take into account the learning difficulties they experience. The Morning Educational Program began in the 1994/1995 academic year and continues to operate to this day.

The program offers placements for Kuwaiti students, or children of Kuwaiti mothers, who are enrolled in public schools and who have an approved psychological and educational report confirming that they have learning difficulties. Students must also have a Disability Certification and an educational placement decision issued by the Public Authority for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities.

The Morning Educational Program aims to empower students to cope with their learning challenges and to identify effective strategies to address them, ultimately enabling their reintegration into their schools once they are able to keep pace with their peers and become independent learners.

The program also seeks to strengthen children’s self-esteem and self-confidence, as we believe that a confident and happy child is the most successful learner.

Teaching Methods

Teaching Methods

Teaching Methods

  • Students study the curricula prescribed by the Ministry of Education.

  • Each subject is taught by a qualified teacher, and class sizes are kept small to allow teachers to address students’ individual needs and differences.

  • Individual instruction sessions (one or two students) are allocated within the weekly school schedule in Arabic language, English language, and mathematics, according to each student’s needs. These sessions form part of the intervention plan for addressing learning difficulties and for reinforcing learning through remedial programs, in preparation for educational reintegration.

  • The Morning Educational Program focuses on an integrated, multisensory teaching approach. Teachers use music, art, computers, and physical education activities to deliver information through the integration of academic subjects with other learning activities.
