Evening Educational Program
The Evening Educational Program provides opportunities for specialized education for students with learning difficulties who do not have access to specialized programs during their regular morning school hours, from Grade 1 through Grade 12.
In addition, the program provides students with behavioral therapy services, speech and language therapy for those with Specific Learning Difficulties, as well as diagnostic testing services in the core academic subjects (Arabic, English, and Mathematics), in cooperation with the Diagnostic Unit.
Individual Remedial Lessons:
Students benefit from specialized instruction in core academic subjects (languages and mathematics), delivered according to an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) developed by the teacher based on the educational reports prepared by the Center for the student, or on the results of diagnostic assessments conducted by the teacher.
Educational Diagnostic Assessments in Core Subjects:
To identify students’ strengths, weaknesses, and indicators of learning difficulties, the program offers educational assessments in coordination and cooperation with the Center’s Diagnostic Unit. These assessments focus on the core subjects: Arabic, Mathematics, and English
Professional Development Courses for Teachers:
The Evening Educational Program is committed to organizing training courses for its teachers, as well as lectures and workshops on emerging topics in the field of learning difficulties. This ensures that teachers are kept informed of the latest scientific and educational developments, both theoretical and practical.
Provision of Individual Classes in Academic Subjects:
Individual sessions are offered in Physics, Chemistry, and French, in addition to the three core subjects, for secondary school students.
Speech Therapy Sessions for Students with Learning Difficulties (Coming Soon):
Students with speech and articulation difficulties may enroll in speech therapy sessions aimed at improving the use of acquired language skills, correcting incorrect language patterns, and developing new language skills. These sessions also aim to expand students’ vocabulary, address speech and articulation disorders, and treat cases of stuttering.
The Evening Educational Program accepts students enrolled in public schools and in Arabic and English private schools, including both Kuwaiti students and residents of all nationalities.
Priority for admission to the Evening Educational Program is given to students who have previously studied in the Center’s Morning Program and have completed it but require continued support through the evening program. Priority is also given to students who are most in need of this service, particularly those in their early years of schooling.
